The album breaks some really interesting new ground in prog. The musicianship is absolutely top-flight throughout but DLS achieves something special and unexpected by mixing in Beto Valtierra's sax work with thoughtfully paced and beautifully melodic prog. You might think that this is "easy" prog (i.e. like Porcupine Tree's Lazarus) but a closer listen reveals layer after layer of deftly woven music that has to be heard to be appreciated.
