'The Ancestry' is the eighth album release for the band.

The idea for this album is to be the end of the trilogy that included the themes from 'Hold the Throne' and 'King Defeatism'; about the rise and fall of an imperial family that ruled a kingdom to ruin. These past albums were instrumentals and the challenge this time round was how to incorporate the lyrics to a concept that started off without words. 'The Ancestry' is an exploration of different perspectives after the fall of the imperial family from various characters within the kingdom, all portraying how freedom, which can breed hope, love and belief, cannot prevent the terrors of betrayal, violence and hate. After so many generations of being on a leash and being dictated, how can the kingdom sustain itself without the guidance?

We wanted this album to be more of an open interpretation of the lyrics but it's nice to have some context also. A more personal reason this album relates to ancestry is that this album is a mix of all our previous work; from the heavy riffs from 'Mirroring' to the dream-like atmospheres of 'Fields of Vision', we wanted to encapsulate all this influences and produce something to progress these sounds further, and we hope that we have succeeded in this.

We would like to thank you for supporting us and we send our massive love to you all for helping us achieve what we have done so far.

Track Name: Devil in the Desert
Grains of sand falling
buried hands in flame
Shining the sun on my face
The feeling is so unreal

Imagine the sky so deep
Endulge the clouds on me
This ascension's never ending
My return is now delayed

I could make a deal
this feeling's too much to love
Keep me here in this decay
It is my place to stay

Burning the skin to ash
spreading it all so thin
bathe in the fire it sticks
i can smell the desire
Track Name: Desolation Society
You turn into the shapes
within my dreams shifting
I can never render the moments here
when I am lost in you

In the reality
I realise that we live within

The time I sleep within my mind
It never ages my soul
I reside in my own secrecy
Its more than I can bear

I realise that we live within
Track Name: Integers
Sharing this path with you is all I wanted
You make the reason to start again so easy
I am so blessed to have you here with me
I count the days my life became your dream

I give my everything to pull you through
Make sure you give me your hand too
So that we can still count our time here

Masquarades never fit our desire and our pain
Its much easier without the mask
I am so blessed to have you here with me
I count the days my life became your dream
Track Name: Rune/Ruin
My favourite past-time is chasing you down streets
You know that it stimuates your brain
To the point where it stops your feet
And make you lay on the ground
Your bones are cold and brittle
I want to crack them to the beat of your heart
You wait for me to push you through the pavement
You may think I am a fantasist
But you have seen nothing yet
You wait for me to push you through the pavement
Track Name: Building a Myth
Assume that we deserve this all
Running around in circles
Praying that we could end this repeat
Nothing could be sweeter

Living in repetition
Proves that we're further apart then before
Lets keep building a myth
Keep believing that this will break soon
Changing the atmosphere
These lies will only get us so far

Turning in clockwise positions
Hoping our escape comes faster
Its a shame that we face away
We are cowards in the end
Track Name: Anxiety Rush Hour
Light this message clear
Today will be the breakthrough
Thoughts are stuck in traffic
But my words are in transit to you

Did you lose them on the way to me?

Borrowing time and being here with you
Makes the night chill with your embrace
Falling through ceilings with you
Is the only thing I want to do

Guide the moon to the sea
and drown our love within the clouds

When did our feelings seem so far apart?
Track Name: Like Wildfire
Closing doors on me
The emperor of emptiness
Seems like the best role
when you live alone

I'm used to be being avoided
It spreads like wildfire

Disconnection infinite
It never ends, it will never end

Shouting across the room
It never listens
The empire falls
you screwed up
Track Name: The Ancestry (I. Sunday Mass/II. Inner City Despair/III. Branches)

Am I from the same tree?
Or am I a broken branch?
